Your data, explained.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
CINSEED is a free film-brief builder operated by Ramon Herman, Czech Republic, who is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: cinseed@seznam.cz.
1. What we collect and why
- Optional account: your name (a display name is sufficient), email address, account identifier, authentication information and account timestamps. Supabase handles passwords and authentication. These data provide registration, sign-in, profile editing and account recovery.
- Saved projects: project names, stories, descriptions, selected settings and creation/update times are stored with your account when you choose to save a project online. They are not published as a public gallery.
- Support: if you email us, we process your email address, message and any attachments to respond.
- Technical information: hosting, authentication and email providers process information such as IP addresses, request times, browser/device information, authentication events and email delivery records to deliver and protect the service.
Account and project processing is necessary to provide the free service you request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Security, abuse prevention and general support rely on legitimate interests in keeping the service reliable and answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). Processing required by law relies on Article 6(1)(c).
You can use the Builder without an account. Account details are required only if you want account features; without them we cannot create your account. Avoid putting sensitive personal information or unnecessary details about real people in your stories.
2. Local drafts and browser storage
Your working draft is saved in your browser’s local storage so you can continue later. It is uploaded as a project only when you choose to save it to your account. Authentication storage keeps you signed in; temporary session storage remembers the project open in the current tab. These features use localStorage/sessionStorage, not advertising cookies.
The application does not include advertising trackers. Infrastructure may use essential security cookies. Local drafts remain until replaced, cleared by you or removed by your browser. Signing out does not erase your local draft. Clear this website’s data in your browser to remove local copies; this also signs you out and can permanently remove unsaved work. Temporary tab storage normally ends with the browser session.
3. Service providers and international processing
- Cloudflare: website hosting, delivery and security.
- Supabase: accounts, authentication and stored projects. The project’s primary database region is Ireland.
- Resend: account confirmation and password-reset email delivery.
- Seznam.cz: our support email mailbox, when you contact us.
Providers and their subprocessors may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. An EU database region does not mean all processing stays within the EU. Provider arrangements use applicable transfer safeguards, including European Commission standard contractual clauses where required. You can contact us for information about applicable safeguards or copies.
Provider details: Cloudflare data processing terms, Supabase data processing terms, Resend data processing terms and Seznam privacy information.
We do not sell your personal data. CINSEED builds the brief in your browser and does not automatically send your story to an AI model. If you copy it into ChatGPT, Claude, Higgsfield or another service, that service’s own privacy terms apply.
4. How long we keep data
Account information is kept while your account exists so that you can return to it. Saved projects remain until you delete them or your account is deleted. Support correspondence is kept while resolving your request and any related follow-up or dispute; records no longer needed for those purposes are removed. A limited record may be retained where needed to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Operational logs and residual backup copies follow the relevant provider’s retention and deletion cycles; deleting a live record may not immediately remove every backup copy. Retention depends on the service, security purpose and configured plan. Contact us for details applicable to your data.
5. Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile and delete individual saved projects in your account. To request account deletion, a copy of your data, correction or another privacy action, email cinseed@seznam.cz, preferably from your account email. We may need proportionate verification of your identity; never send your password.
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. If we ever rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month; if a permitted extension is needed, we explain it within that month.
You may complain to the Czech supervisory authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (ÚOOÚ), or your local data protection authority in the EU/EEA. CINSEED does not use your data for automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
6. Changes
We will update this notice when our data practices change. Material changes affecting account holders will be communicated appropriately. The date above identifies this version.
